Steam have put round wheels on their bike but lets just ignore that fact. Oculus have created a bike with square wheels and it is the roads fault it's not a smooth ride. Your statement boils down to this analogy:
#If i buy a game on steam for mac can i play it on pc install
The issue I had with Asgards wrath has been going on since Christmas before I bought it in April but still they haven't done a thing to prevent downloads deleting after an install failure or anti virus interference.
#If i buy a game on steam for mac can i play it on pc software
It also didn't block a decades worth of other steam software I have downloaded.

Did it ever once restart a download from scratch because of anti-virus, no a bigger portion of genitalia did it. I bought Alyx recently, did my anti virus block that, no balls did it. So now its two completely different anti-virus programs at fault. I had to uninstall AVG last time for saints and sinners, still didn't work, has to mess around with file security and wait for my internet connection not to drop at all, otherwise it started again. Support have been telling people to completely uninstall their virus software, download again and then reinstall the virus software. Thirdly it is not just a case of turning off anti-virus. Secondly I only had windows defender and if they cant get their store working for the most bog standard virus protection software on the planet, strike 2 for a shit job. However it is poor design for Oculus to decide just to give up after being blocked on install and then delete your download, especially as said download (80GB) took all day. Ok so anti-virus can block things, fine, I understand that. On the contrary, if you don't have an Oculus headset, you can use SteamVR without performance issues, so go for LuluViBritannia firstly its not just me, read the many threads that constantly pop up. For example, Pavlov can be used without SteamVR, while you can buy it only on Steam. That means you should buy on the Oculus Store, or bur SteamVR games who can be run without SteamVR. If you own an Oculus headset, you'll want to avoid SteamVR. Now, to answer the dead topic (gotta love necromancers, lol). For example, remember that time the headsets couldn't even be used due to an expired certificate? THAT was the fault of Oculus. How many times do we have to say it for people to understand?įor a problem to be caused by Oculus, it has to be on a wide scale. It might very well be caused by your firewall, or antivirus, or even some 3rd-party software on your computer. Just because you have issues on the Oculus Store doesn't mean this is because of Oculus.
